Did you know that since the Corona virus started to spread, lockdowns enforced, and quarantines started, the global pollution has dropped. Because of many factories shutting down, harmful gases have mostly stopped being pumped into our air! See, there is always a silver lining!

A Poem About the coronavirus

When will we live again?

Will we ascend into cavemen again?

Will our nerves ever sooth?

When we are afraid that we have everything to lose

Will we ever see the world the same?

After the coronavirus came?

Will we ever understand the pain?

Of the people with the backlash of the vain?

Or will we buy our toilet paper,

And let our kindness turn to vapor?

Will we ever get the chance to see everything we have missed,

Because we never got the chance to give it a good-bye kiss?

When will we live again?

We have everything on the line,

And will we pick it up and take it as a sign

What will we do?

When people are fired and companies are sued?

And will we let Netflix take over?

And doesn't everybody want to teleport back to October?

When we knew nothing of this thing,

But now we want nothing other than to be taken under someone's wing.

But will we stand?

And not let the virus take over our sacred land?

But will we thank?

Thank all of those with their pride all sank.

And now we shall ask everybody’s question,

Things to do to help the environment

• Be aware that the world needs aid. And that the only way we can help this world, is putting in a group effort.

• Try and refrain from using plastic and lots of paper, this can not only prevent massive landfills, and polluting the ocean - and can also can stop the problem of deforestation.

• Try not to buy things from big and rich company’s (amazon, whole foods, walmart, etc…)

• Warn others family/ friends - that they should be more ecological to our world, and they should try and withhold from using harmful materials.

• Do not waste food, or throw out half eaten food.

• Recycle and compost if you have the choice.

• Organize protests, rallys, walkouts and speeches

The Reason why not to say 'Climate Change'

'Climate Change' is a word you will hear a lot about when people are talking about the environment. The right word is actually 'Climate Crisis' because Climate change sounds more temporary. Someone made that up who did not believe this 'climate change was a problem.

A Poem about what I believe:

Do you care?

Do you ever think that it is unfair

Every plastic that you use

Is a life the earth will lose

Do you see?

You are ruining the future of me

I am only 10 years old

It always used to be so cold

Now it always is so warm

I won’t let this become the norm

So I will stand above the others

And stand with all the fathers and the mothers

Because I will fight

To live is a right

Climate crisis and pollution

Wasn’t mentioned in the Constitution

It’s a right to live it says in those pages

And your not allowed to put people in cages

It says Life, Liberty and Property

And all the people can be free

And with so much life ahead of us

With so much to learn thus,

Let us have those thoughts

And have time to speak and write, a lot

And understand

The ocean, the animals, the land

To live to 101

And have so much fun

And to see our children grow old

So don’t let our future be sold

For a plastic bottle, a piece of waste

And don’t make our mouth fill with that sour taste

Of knowing that we may not get the feeling of college

Or get an education and learn all that knowledge

To throw our hats in the air

And see how our lives will fare

A child

A life for longer than a while

Because after all

Our lives are anything but small

The consequences of our actions

• Many factory's and large business - Pollution of the air - Animals can not live in this polluted ecosystems ; what you can do is... buy your food and things from small and local company's rather that large rich company's and chains (Whole foods, Walmart, Marshall's, etc... )

• Many meat - eaters killing animals just for a piece of food - Mass extinction of many animals ; what you can do is... Become a vegetarian or vegan, or at least for a week not eat any meat

• Plastics mass produced - Plastics thrown in landfills and the ocean. - Animals choking on the trash, and suffocating them. This needs to be stopped.

• Freon used in refrigerators - Gases released into the air - Holes in the ozone (O - zone) layer - Oceans drying up.
